Howard Fensterman Joins Chabad Board of Trustees
We are happy to announce that Howard Fensterman has joined the Board of Trustees of Chabad of Port Washington. The Board of Trustees is repsonsible to oversee and make important decisions regarding the entire organization of Chabad, including the Shul, Preschool, Day school, Hebrew School, Camp, Mikvah and Adult Education programs.
Howard Fensterman is the managing partner of the law firm Abrams, Fensterman, Fensterman, Eisman, Greenberg, Formato & Einiger, LLP, consisting of 54 attorneys with offices located in Lake Success, New York; New York City & New Jersey. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from Georgetown Law Center. He is admitted to practice in NY, NJ, MD and DC.
Howard is a member of the NYS Public Health Council. In addition, Howard holds the position of Chariman of the Industrial Development Agency of Nassau County. He is founder of de novo bank, Heritage Bank and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Bank. Howard also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America – Long Island Chapter.
Howard is married for 29 years to his wife, Lori, and they have two children, Jordan 26 and Staci 23. Howard has resided in New York for 28 years.
Mr. Fensterman has been a key supporter of our Chabad for the past few years. We are very proud and honored to have him join as a member of the Board of Trustees.

Can you believe we have finished 4 awesome weeks of camp already?!? Time is flying by so fast because we are having so much fun!!!
This week we focused on our Brachos. Each day we learned and practiced one or two Brachos that we make on our foods before we eat. We have to thank Hashem for yummy food we're going to eat.
Monday we started with the Brachos we make on cakes, cookies and most drinks: Mezonos and Shehakol. We gave out yummy cookies and juice for snack so we can learn the Brachos on some fun food. We went to jump in the nice cool pool. We figured out that the water we were swimming in was also the Bracha Shehakol; only if we would drink it :) We continued our day with my day my way and some of the children chose the group of making chocolate edible birds nests.
