Howard Fensterman is the Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Abrams Fensterman, LLP, a full-service New York law firm he established in 2000 and has built into one of the largest in the state, with more than 120 attorneys across five offices. He oversees all of the firm's practice areas, including healthcare law, professional licensing defense, corporate law, litigation, real estate, and trusts and estates.

 

Appointed by Governor Paterson to the New York State Public Health and Health Planning Council from 2008 to 2014, Mr. Fensterman has been consistently recognized among New York's most influential legal and civic leaders, with placements on City & State New York's Law Power 100, Long Island Power 100, and Brooklyn Power 100.

 

He serves as Chairman of the Board of Chabad of Port Washington and is involved with numerous charitable organizations, including the Community for Celiac, Crohn's and Colitis Foundation – Long Island Chapter, Parker Jewish Institute Foundation, Life's WORC, and Island Harvest. In 2016, he and his son Jordan were honored together by Chabad of Port Washington with the Dor L'Dor – Generation to Generation award.

Mr. Fensterman received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.
