Dear Parents,
I hope that you and your families have been enjoying this beautiful summer. I want to thank everybody that has made me feel so welcome during my first few weeks here in Port. It is an honor to join such a warm and friendly community.
With summer winding down and day camps drawing to a close, we find ourselves just a few short weeks before the start of the school year. As the nostalgia of yet another summer's memories begin to float through the mind, and the excitement of back to school shopping begins to mount, we all ask ourselves the same question: “ Have I sent in my Hebrew School enrollment forms yet? ”
To those of you who have already returned your enrollment forms I extend hearty thanks. As for the great majority for whom filling out Hebrew School enrollment forms falls out somewhere between scrubbing down the barbeque grate and figuring out which cardboard box under the stairs contains the fall clothing, I beseech you to please take a moment to complete and return your children's forms.
As you know, only a well organized school can provide a top quality education. Here at Chabad our staff is working day and night to make sure that every detail of Hebrew School is up to par. By returning your Hebrew School enrollment form in advance you help us stay on top of the game. Timely registration:
• Allows us to form our classes and troubleshoot issues of size and dynamic prior to the start of Hebrew School
• Gives our teachers the opportunity to contact students and parents to discuss ideas and concerns for the year
• Keeps Rabbi Weinberg's stress level just that much further down
This year registration couldn't be easier. With nothing more than the click of the mouse register right now with our online registration form.
Looking forward to a great year,
Rabbi Weinberg
