Purim Basket Gift Exchange
Chabad of Port Washington is gearing up for its annual 2014 Purim Mishloach Manot
(Holiday Gift Basket) Project. On Purim we emphasize the importance of Jewish unity
and friendship by sending gifts of food to friends.
To help make this project a success, the following are ways you can participate:
• $5.00 sponsors one mishloach manot package.
• $10.00 sponsors two mishloach manot packages.
• $75.00 sponsors eighteen mishloach manot packages. An additional $36.00 will ensure that anyone who sponsors a package for you will receive a reciprocal package from you.
• $180.00 sponsors packages to the entire Chabad of PW Community.
To sign up for any of the above, please CLICK HERE to fill out the form. These packages will be sent to family units. Regardless of the number of packages you sponsor, each family/individual will only receive one mishloach manot. With each package, you will receive a card listing all names of those people who sponsored mishloach manot in your honor.
Mishloach Manot packages will distributed up to a week prior to Purim. Children attending either Florence Brownstein Preschool or the Chabad of Port Washington Hebrew School bring home the packages sent to their families. The remainder of the packages will be delivered by volunteers directly to your homes.
Because of the tremendous amount of work involved in this undertaking, we can only fulfill packages ordered by Monday, March 3, 2014. We thank you, in advance, for your involvement and cooperation with this deadline.
