MIKVA

Mazel tov! At long last, we are happy to announce the opening of our mikvah, Mikvah Mei Menachem of Port Washington. The mikvah is open by appointment only; call the Chabad office 516 767 8672 and ask for the mikvah. Click here to view photos of our magnificent Mikvah!

Our thanks go to Adam Katz who so generously built this out–of-this-world mikvah. Adam, we thank you and bless you with all that is good for this amazing merit of having built a mikvah that will be welcoming and comfortable to the modern, American Jewish woman. Adam built this mikvah in memory of his grandmother Erna Katz, Esther bat Yehoshua HaLevi, mother of Adam’s father, Curtis Katz.

Thank you to Avraham & Gittie Bistritzky of Crown Heights, Brooklyn, who dedicated the naming of this mikvah as the “Mei Menachem Mikvah” in memory of the Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, of blessed memory. How special is it that our community mikvah will be named for the Rebbe.

We also extend many thanks to Rabbi Yitzchak Raitport and Mikvah USA for their contributions to the mikvah.

Best wishes,

Rabbi Shalom & Sara Paltiel
