Purim Basket Gift Exchange

As Purim approaches (Friday, March 14), Chabad of Port Washington invites you to participate in our annual community-wide Mishloach Manot project. This year’s proceeds will bring joy to our soldiers in Israel. Here’s how it works:

Each Chabad Member, Preschool & Hebrew School family will receive a beautiful Mishloach Manot gift package. Attached will be a card listing all of the families who donated in their honor and asked to be included on their card. This is a wonderful way to show friendship and appreciation to all of the teachers, classmates, and friends within the Chabad PW community, without the need to send them an individual basket.

• $5.00 entitles you to one mishloach manot listing.
• $10.00 entitles you to two mishloach manot listings.
• $75.00 entitles you to eighteen mishloach manot listings.
• $180.00 entitles you to be listed on every package for the entire Chabad of PW Community.
• $18.00 Mishloach Manot package for an IDF Soldier in Israel.
• $180 to bring a Purim Party to an IDF Platoon of soldiers.

Mishloach Manot Manot packages will be distributed up to a week prior to Purim. Children attending the Florence Brownstein Preschool and Chabad Hebrew School will bring their packages home from school. The remainder of the packages will be delivered by volunteers directly to homes. If you would like to volunteer, please check the volunteer box option on the order form.

Because of the tremendous amount of work involved in this undertaking, all requests should be received by Thursday, February 27, 2025. We thank you, in advance, for your involvement and cooperation with this due date.
