Florence’s Israel is an immersive, multi-sensory indoor playground experience of fun for preschoolers and young children. It includes a traditional ‘shuk’ (marketplace), an archaeological site, a camel sitting by a water-well and the hills of an ancient Judean city. Plus, our very own recreation of the Kotel, the Western Wall, a live video feed from the Kotel, a puppet theater, and a cozy “cafe and pizza shop” for birthday parties and celebrations. The center promotes awareness and solidarity with Israel amongst the local Jewish community, while offering the community at large an opportunity of exploring Israel and its culture.

This project was sponsored by Dr. Martin Borwnstein, who founded the Florence Brownstein Preschool in 1992 in memory of his mother Feigah bas Moshe of blessed memory.
