The Plans for the new Florence Brownstein Preschool playground at Chabad “FLORENCE’S DISCOVERY ISLAND”


 

The Florence Brownstein Preschool is very fortunate to have a very staunch patron and supporter, its proud founder, Dr. Martin Brownstein, who founded the Preschool with Sara Paltiel in 1992 in loving memory of his mother Florence, Feiga bas Moshe, of blessed memory.

With Dr. Brownstein’s generous support, the Florence Brownstein Preschool will be building a brand new, ¼ acre park-like playground called “Florence’s Discovery Island”.  It will include: a “sunken ship and lighthouse” playground, a children’s herb garden, rock climbing, walking trail, innovative swings, sand, water, art and music exploration, plus more.  This will change the definition of a school playground! Once the outdoor playground is completed, Dr. Brownstein has plans to build a 2300 SF indoor preschool gym with the theme of the Land of Israel, which also promises to be something extraordinary.
