A personal struggle with my dichotomy The diamond ring with the dollar sign really spoke alot to me in this message. I wrestled with this myself in the past with the focus of money. I thought in my 20's "I want what she has a bigger diamond..Her husband loves her to give her a bigger diamond.Or I want a setting like theirs so I will belong.". Then finally after much struggle and many years,I look out onto the ocean and see the sparkling sunlight on the water and give into my soul. The diamond like lights, the sparkling light dancing on the water are my real choice. How could I be so wrapped up in this material world? Jealousy and competition? Money can be a huge drawing card away from the soul when we represent and measure the love of marriage with the size or setting or expense of a diamond ring. This is not to say the carot of the diamond is not in itself with divine sparks. But my lesson was to learn that if G-D could he would give us each a big diamond but HE can only directly show himself in nature and His sparkle. Reply

The Real Me Dear Chana,

I found your message so calming to my mind and soul that it eased some pain in my body which had been, in part, brought on by some guilt about this very subject.

So often we think in black and white. I believe it is so important to hear that we are born with a dual nature and, yes, one does not negate the other.

It's just that sometimes, I know I should be pursuing more of the spiritual path than giving in to the "road more taken".
