Thousands Walk on Behalf of Children With Special Needs

Upwards of 5,000 people from across Michigan descended on the grounds of the Meer Family Friendship Circle in West Bloomfield, sending a river of purple-clad walkers on a five kilometer trek to the local Jewish Community Center.

Upwards of 5,000 people participated in Sunday’s sixth-annual Walk4Friendship benefitting the founding chapter of the Friendship Circle, an international network of Chabad-Lubavitch run programs that pair teenage volunteers with children with special needs.

special needs Are these children only with physical handicaps or do they have mental illness as well and how old are these kids are there any young adults program for mental illness Reply
