More Than 50,000 Stream Through Rebbe’s Resting Place

Over the course of 24 hours, more than 50,000 people streamed through a section of the Old Montefiore Cemetery outside New York City, finding inspiration at the resting place of the Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, of righteous memory, on the occasion of the 17th anniversary of his passing.

My Life Changed! I was having some difficult problems in my life, and my Chabad Rabbi suggested I write a letter to the Rebbe. I brought it to his house and he FAXED it over. Miraculously, when I awoke the next morning, I felt the burdens of my life had faded away, and I no longer had to worry. I haven't felt sorry for myself since, and each day seems like a new opportunity to find G-D and learn whatever is possible in my remaining years (I'm 68). I'm not focused on what I never new, but how blessed I am to have found G-D in the later years of my life. I have a Facebook friend, a man of 82 years old, who had a Chabad Bar Mitzvah last year. He had been feeling lost. I talked to him online, about writing to the Rebbe on this anniversary of his Yahrtzeit; he told me he got out all kinds of feelings that were inside of him. He felt so good having been able to say whatever he needed to; things that he hadn't dealt with his whole life. Thank-you, Rebbe..you helped save my soul, and my friend, Lenny's Reply
