children As a special ed teacher in high school, and having a teen son, I can vouch for the rabbi when he says its OK to say NO> In fact, the district I work in and my son attends is very affluent and very few parents say NO> I say no, when important. He is saving for his own car, he has to work, he cannot get everything his friends have immediately. He does his own wash now and cooks for us sometimes. He has been choosing good girls and boys as friends, and is an A-B student. He yells at us at times when he can't get what he wants. But I will not tolerate disrepectful behavior from him. Its not easy, but he knows we love him, will always respect his thinking and abilities, but most of all his inborn nature is good. We know that fact and celebrate it with him. Hopefully, G-d will continue to watch over him. That is always my prayer. Reply

very good This should be presented in every lamaze class before birth or prescreening before entering kindergarden class. Teachers themselves should bring parents in especially single parents to watch if they see a problem that persistently arises. MAKE IT HAPPEN. Reply
